Do you spend all of your holidays, planning for literacy learning in your classroom?

Save time, and register for our Professional Development: BORN2READ in the Classroom.

One of the most challenging aspects of teaching in the Early Years is the understanding of, and the teaching of reading.  This Professional Development helps teachers to develop practical strategies to meet the needs of young readers.  Over the course of the day, you will explore:

  • The elements to successful reading, why these are important and how they can be implemented
  • Current research on the teaching of reading and the practical applications of this research
  • the BORN2READ program and how to implement in your classroom

Participants will also be given the opportunity to network with other participants, to create a support network as they begin to implement theory into practice, over Semester Two, 2016.  A BORN2READ mentor will be available for online consultation, and where practical, classroom visits.

On completion of this Professional Development, you will leave with a Literacy Program ready to be implemented in your classroom, complete with all resources, that can be modified to best suit your unique class of learners.
